Rhythm Classes taught by Amina
Beginner/Intermediate Level
$30/hour - Private Instruction only
You will learn rhythms on finger cymbals, drum, duf and/or tambourine
Designed for dancers to learn the dance rhythms
Class covers technique, rhythms, song translations and learning to play several rhythms within a song. Includes discussions on rhythm transitions and types of movements to be used with each rhythm.
Songs chosen will be "must learn" classics and popular.

Amina has been playing back-up percussion weekly for over 15 years.
She currently plays with the Georges Lamman Ensemble at PenaPachmama,
at Cafe Chant with Jalal, Yusef and Husain and with Aswat
