Debke - Arabic line dancing is very popular at weddings, festivals and lots of occasions when Arabic music is played - especially when the music is live. In the San Francisco area we have many opportunities to dance this folk dance and so we have often even choreographed numbers to popular songs for some of our shows. Oftentimes this leads to getting the audience up dancing. Below are various examples of some of the debkes we have done over the years.
